When I say we could do with less government, I mean it. In Canada, each province has a supernanny to make sure we can't have too much fun with liquor. I wish these old gals would die off so that I could experience total liberty at the wine store. No only do liquor commissions crank up the price of my libations, they also limit the selection. That's what's happening in Alberta right now with beers above 11.9% alcohol content. I can't stand it. Check it out.

This is the election day edition of The New Right. Calgary made a bold decision and a big step towards becoming an amazing world-class city this past election. Calgary also got an awesome chicken sandwich. A new mayor and a double down on the same day. How historic.
